WEBSITES
Building, managing, editing and restructuring websites is my bread and butter.
I spend time getting to know an artist and their work before designing their site so that each site complements and amplifies the strengths of the artist’s work. My client’s use a variety of platforms, and I’m happy to edit through whatever platform they are currently using or describe the pros and cons of various options.
EXAMPLE #1: Major Site Update & Redesign
Hagopian Arts needed site updates, managing, SEO and a refresh. I added structure, color and exciting shapes to match the colorful murals they create and break up the descriptive text on each page.

EXAMPLE #2: New Platform, New Site
Joan’s site had become cluttered with an accumulation of work from many prolific years in the studio. She wanted more space for the works to breathe and liked the image banners and large photos next to text on Gross McCleaf Gallery’s site.
We maintained the strengths of her previous site but moved away from WordPress for the ease of editing provided by Wix. Her new site organizes images by category, reduces the total amount of work on the site and gives each work enough space for viewing and contemplation. We included quotes from past artist statements and interviews.
